Overview

CT Filtration specialises in providing whole-house water filtration solutions tailored for Adelaide’s mains water. The objective was to design and develop a website that effectively communicates the benefits of their filtration systems, enhances user navigation, and improves search engine visibility.

Design Objectives

  • Visual Navigation: Enhance the top navigation by incorporating product images, allowing users to quickly identify and access key offerings.
  • Informative Content: Develop a dedicated “Benefits” page to educate customers on the advantages of whole-house water filtration.
  • Build Trust & Social Proof: Integrate Google Reviews into the site to showcase real customer experiences and strengthen credibility.

Design Approach

  • Image-Enhanced Navigation: Updated the main navigation menu to include product images, facilitating quicker recognition and improved user experience.
  • Benefits Page Development: Filtered water comes with clear benefits. It’s better for your skin, tastes great, and helps your appliances last longer. These are some of the main reasons people choose to install a whole-house filtration system. These selling points play an important role in the customer’s decision-making process. That’s why the Benefits page was given top-level placement in the site’s navigation: it’s not just informative, it’s a valuable marketing tool.
  • Video Content: To help customers better understand the product offering, I included video content that gives a clear, visual overview of each system. This includes a 3D model walkthrough, which allows users to see the design, scale, and installation points in detail. The video not only builds trust but also supports buyers in making informed decisions.

Outcome

The redesigned CT Filtration website offers a clean, informative, and user-friendly experience that clearly showcases the value of the product. The inclusion of video content and 3D product walkthroughs helps visitors quickly understand how the systems work and what makes them unique.

By placing the Benefits page in a top-level position, the site highlights the key reasons customers invest in filtration, improving both clarity and conversion. The new design not only builds trust through visual detail and clear messaging but also makes the buying journey more intuitive.
